MY SKIN IS A THEATRE

Skin is eye. The denied contact between bodies generates a perceptive discrepancy, a
reduced tactile sensitivity.
The skin tells a story about a body, a body that was forced to desert.
MY SKIN IS A THEATRE is a poetic political gesture, a choral action that started during
months of forced leave from stage practice. A reflection that was triggered by an
imprisoned, inactivated, tamed, ill-treated body. In the abyss of its greatest fragility, the
body established a creative desire, it reminded to the ruled-filled, civil-and-political-
prohibition-filled materiality, it reminded to the obsession towards the market and money,
how corrosively strong so many inner voices can be.
